Job Summary
We are seeking a CAD Operator I to prepare and revise engineering drawings for utility infrastructure and construction projects. The ideal candidate will create accurate CAD drawings, support engineering teams, maintain design documentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and revise electrical, mechanical, or civil/structural CAD drawings.
Develop layouts, schematics, assembly, and construction drawings.
Create drawings from engineering sketches and specifications.
Maintain design documentation using EDMS.
Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and drafting practices.
Coordinate with engineers and designers to support project execution.
Required Skills
1-5 years of CAD drafting experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Raster Design.
Experience with Engineering Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Knowledge of engineering drawings, drafting standards, and construction practices.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
High School Diploma or Technical Trade School Certification (or equivalent experience).
