We are seeking a skilled overhead crane with proven experience in a steel environment.
Duties
Operate cranes.
Loading, unloading, and staging materials.
Perform pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery on job sites.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate lifting operations.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Assist in the assembly and disassembly of rigging equipment as needed.
Ensure that work areas are kept clean and organized.
Experience
Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role involving heavy machinery operation.
Proven experience in a steel/pipe environment.
Valid crane operator certification or relevant licenses preferred.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to crane operation and heavy machinery use.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
